When you’re depressed or down, you may not feel like you deserve nice stuff to happen to you.  It’s the opposite - you actually need small, regular treats because of the hard time you’re having. So buy yourself a little something, watch a funny video online, have a bath or listen to your favourite waiata/songs. It sounds indulgent, but it works to show yourself simple kindness.
